Performer Refutes Anti-Vaxxer Position Following Lending His Voice To Contentious Covid Film

The acclaimed actor has lent his narration to a new documentary that challenges the legitimacy of vaccines and lauds ex- cabinet secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Film's Contentious Basis

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the project is based on a bestselling book co-authored by Judy Mikovits, who became famous during the health crisis for assertions that Covid was caused by a bad strain of the seasonal immunization.

The book's co-author, the executive producer, has also written books with controversial media personality the Infowars host. Heckenlively took to social media celebrating Neeson's involvement in the project.

A Strong Statement

A spokesperson for Neeson have provided a comment pushing back against claims that he subscribes to anti-vaccine beliefs.

"Everyone can recognize that misconduct can exist within the medical sector, but that should never be equated to being against vaccines," the response states. "Neeson has never been, and remains not, against vaccines. His considerable work with the UN children's agency highlights his long-held support for public-health initiatives."

It continued that the actor did not shape the film's narrative and that inquiries about its assertions should be directed to the producers.

Central Themes Featured in the Feature

As presented, the voiceover read by Neeson includes several controversial statements:

  • It states that pro-vaccine voices have insisted on "complete compliance" to government bodies.
  • It declares that "research has become highly politicised."
  • Kennedy is shown stating, "The big problem with vaccines is that they just aren't adequately tested."
  • The film further attacks stay-at-home orders, claiming they caused severe distress that cost thousands of lives.
  • Concerning pandemic shots, it references a report that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Previous Controversy and Ongoing Disputes

It further cites a historical film about AIDS medication trials on children, which was afterwards the focus of a formal apology by the network for violations of guidelines.

Recently, the political figure directed the national health agency to change its longstanding position that there is no connection between immunizations and autism. This claim is repeated in the film, contrary to a fresh analysis from the global health body stating no evidence has been found.

A Previous Statement of Support

Contrasting the film's tone, Neeson has previously voiced strong support for vaccines in his role as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Two years ago, he called vaccines as "an extraordinary human success story," noting that "The debate about vaccines in lately has overlooked how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in our history."

The documentary ends with Neeson's narration saying, "This marks not the finish of our journey. Rather, it is the dawn of a new chapter."
